first post of 2012! i know i'm a little late on this but happy new year (and happy chinese new year)! wanted to hold myself accountable for my goal, so i did what i thought would be best (or rather, my awesome mom who is super smart suggested and set up for me) and now my travel funds automatically get drafted from my paycheck to go into savings. by december i will have enough funds for all my leap year trips! now i just have to make sure i don't dip into savings for anything else and hope that no emergencies come up...and with my track record i'm going to ask that you pray i have no emergencies too! i obviously need all the help i can get on that front.
T-4 months til canada trip, and after polling i have an overwhelming response telling me to go to vancouver because the weather will be much nicer. but there's also this really awesome theme park in toronto and the leviathan will open in may. i know, tough call, good weather or extreme coaster? but you are probably underestimating my love of the extreme. it also depends on where all my canadians will be at the time (it's the last weekend in may - put it on your calendar!) and if any fun events/festivals are going on that weekend in either city. canucks, weigh in!
