vancouver

it's official:  i'm going to vancouver!!!!!

basically it came down to "do i want a free flight or do i want to pay an extra $200?"

vancouver = free - thank you capital one miles that i've racked up
toronto = $200

on my tight budget to save up for other things as well, including australia, vancouver won out.  hopefully i can convince some of my canadian friends in toronto to meet me down there (*cough*myles*aaron*brian*cough*) because i miss them and would love love love to see them again.  now i get to figure out where i'll be staying and what exactly i'll be doing, so if you have any friends in vancouver who would want to host me and take me fun places and go to the big street celebrations for canada day, hook me up!  i'm not a super great cook but i do make some mean desserts.  and they'd get to hang out with a rocket scientist, because who doesn't want to say they've done that??  right?  maybe?


suggestions/tips on things to do would be greatly appreciated!

trip dates:  leaving friday night, june 29th, coming back wednesday early afternoon, july 4th, to be back in dallas just in time for the fireworks.  you didn't think i forgot about that, did you?

vacation days

set for canada.  time off is good to go.  now all that's left is to to figure out where i'm going and buy a ticket!  location still depends on a few external factors on that one that are out of my control, but the decision will be made and ticket bought within the next two weeks. 

look out canucks, i'm coming for you!
