check 'em off
first of all, i haven't blogged in almost three months??? seriously??? i'm sorry. so so sorry. i have some drafts here and there that never got published, i swear, they just never made it out. but hey, i've got some updates:
bonnaroo is coming up!!! sam and i bought our festival tickets a while back, and i'm planning on buying my plane ticket out to tennessee tomorrow...i think... but it'll be soon! i'm so excited to see my rooms again!
september trip with mom is still on. no new updates on the trip itself, but i am proud of my mom for taking not just level 1, but level 2 of german class now! she's so smart :)
my brother realized he needed to save his money for getting set up with a new job, wherever in the world that's going to be, so i think we've put off that trip til next year. so scandinavia will wait. but i did come up with a backup and that's....
...drumroll...
SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA!!!
yep, i definitely bought my plane ticket tonight. heading out to hang out with my good ole friend jeff wester, going to eat tons of korean food, karaoke, and explore. i'm beyond excited as this will be a whole new culture for me, one where i can't just sound out the words and figure things out. i'm going to be such an alien and it's going to be awesome. i can't wait to experience this whole new place!
jason's graduation in alabama - 25 days away
bonnaroo with my bonnaroomie (sam gets credit for that) - 38 days away
journey to south korea for 8 days - 80 days away
i might also have a few domestic trips up my sleeve, but you'll have to wait for those as i don't know exactly when they'll be yet. hope you're all getting in as much travel as me! the year is already 1/3 of the way through!
