my extendo-weekend in los angeles was approached with optimism and a need to break away for a few days... and it exceeded my expectations. what i did: i got to be lazy, sat on the beach every day, said hello to space shuttle endeavour, ate korean bbq, ate at the griddle (obviously, LA trip tradition), saw jay leno get out of his car and stared at him from across the street, and just didn't have to worry about anything in general. what really mattered: spent time with my california spacex friends, got to say hi to an old friend i hadn't seen in too long, chat with a super fun ddp friend, and met one person - in person - that i was really looking forward to spending time with. we had way more fun than i would had imagined and it made the whole trip amazing. to you, thank you for being awesome and i can't wait to see you soon :)
on the way back to texas i realized that i now leave in NINE days for south korea and i have a large laundry list of things to do, such as:
-laundry
-find my passport
-figure out where all i'm going
-figure out what to see
-figure out what to wear
-learn some korean words
-get prepared to eat a ton of korean food
-get some july 4th party gear so wester and i can celebrate in style
-no seriously, i have no idea where i put my passport
if you can help me with any of the above, i would greatly appreciate it! because otherwise i'm pretty much just winging it. as usual.

half time
this isn't really much of a post, but it's now 18 days til i arrive in seoul, which is half of what it was on my last post. mainly i just can't contain my excitement so i'm telling all one of my followers.
also, california extended weekend starts in about 55 hours. if you're not sure whether or not you should be jealous of my plans for the next month....you should be.
that is all :)
